Fluid loss is one of the most urgent and life-threatening challenges faced by wildlife in care. Dehydration and shock are extremely common in injured or orphaned animals, and without timely, appropriate support, can quickly become fatal.
This resource accompanies WNT’s hands-on workshop, delivered under veterinary guidance. It is designed to support wildlife rehabilitators in building the practical skills and confidence needed to recognise, understand, and respond to dehydration and shock safely within their role as carers.
