An Introduction to Caring for Ringtail Possums
Join us for a relaxed, small-group session exploring the early care and rehabilitation of ringtail possums. Led by experienced rehabilitators, this chat-style workshop is designed to build confidence and share practical knowledge in a nurturing, peer-supported environment.
Over 3 hours, we’ll spend time discussing:
- The developmental stages of ringtail possums and what to expect at each
- Feeding requirements, housing setups, and common health concerns
- Tips for handling, socialisation, and preparing for release
Participants will receive a digital rehabilitation manual via email before the session, so you’ll have a chance to read ahead and bring along any questions you may have.
Tea, coffee and light snacks provided (including vegan and GF options)
A quiet space will be available for anyone needing to bring joeys on the day.
