Jacki brings extensive governance and risk management experience to Wildlife Network Tasmania, alongside a genuine passion for wildlife welfare and environmental conservation. As an active wildlife rescuer and carer with WIRES, and through her involvement with Wildcare Tasmania and environmental volunteer initiatives, she understands firsthand the challenges faced by wildlife volunteers and carers.

With a professional background spanning senior governance, operational risk and strategic oversight roles within large organisations, Jacki is passionate about helping create sustainable, well-supported systems that strengthen both wildlife outcomes and volunteer wellbeing. Her experience includes supporting organisational resilience, strategic decision-making and collaborative leadership across complex environments.

Born and raised in Tasmania, Jacki maintains a deep personal connection to the state’s natural environment and is strongly aligned with WNT’s vision of a connected, capable and supported wildlife rehabilitation sector.

She brings a calm, thoughtful and values-driven approach to governance and is passionate about helping ensure Tasmania’s wildlife volunteers feel empowered, supported and connected into the future.
